Spatial Design: Activating the Senses
Hang out over ZOOM with Charley Ryan, co-owner of Brooklyn Bowl. Ryan curates and collaborates to create the iconic vibe and feeling, the cool factor of the legendary rock venues. Hear the backstory on designing venues and what to look forward to when the new one opens in Nashville including healthy measures to be put in place when the ban on live music lifts |
From Dilapidated to Iconic
“Open to the elements around you” is Ryan's motto. Charley and his business partner, well known music promoter, Peter Shapiro went around Brooklyn in search of a space that provoked feeling, and when they found it; the landlord called them “Crazy.” because the building was so run down. But with vision and ethos- they got to work and today, the venue's aesthetic is iconic. |

And then COVID: New Venue in Nashville on Pause
Pulling the plug on the grand opening of Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville and cancelling all of the amazing talent that they had lined up was heart-breaking. However, they felt that they needed to keep everyone safe. While we wait, you can take a virtual walking tour on their website or you can experience a high end live stream concert on Fans.Live Charley is SUPER stoked to get people into the new space to check out the interior design and have lunch on the porch that overlookins the baseball field. UV Light cleaning and more air flow will keep bowlers, concert goers, and foodies much safer! Even when COVID is a distant thought Brooklyn Bowl will continue to keep customers safe. |
