Live Music is Empathetic. So is our Storytelling.
This isn’t a show made from a couch or behind a desk.
It’s made on the road, in the crowd, at the concert. I’m Kyle Lamont your host and Concert CAST is a documentary-style travel series where I bring you on the road with me to explore the emotional landscape of concert culture through interviews, personal stories, and local music. Each episode features venue tours, band confessions, fan perspectives, and travel itineraries. There’s crying. There’s chaos. There’s elation. And soon, there’s video. A new CHAT SHOW is on the way. From scrubbing puke out of venue bathroom urinals to late-night backstage conversations with bands, my college job at a live music venue combined with traveling to hundreds of venues as a fan and journalist became the foundation for Concert Cast, a storytelling network exploring the connection between music, travel, and identity told with empathy, energy, and fun.
I’m Kyle Lamont, a Concert Journalist, multimedia producer, photographer, and the Founder, Producer, and Host of Concert Cast. At the core of my work is making everyone I interview feel known. With a genuine love for listening and a deep curiosity about how music influences people’s lives, I invite guests to share stories that show why live music has the power to bring us to our knees.

Personal essays about the unexpected connections that concerts create.
In my Field Notes, music and introspection intertwine, opening a new doorway to self discovery.
In my Field Notes, music and introspection intertwine, opening a new doorway to self discovery.
I matched with the frontman of a band I used to sing my heart out to. One of our most prolific songwriters. A brief romance unfolded through long messages and then ended without a single word.
Here’s what I learned about the duality of musicians and the heartbreak of mistaking lyrics for the person I thought he was. READ HERE |

Music By KRISTIN SEVALDSEN - a Norwegian saxophonist composer and producer
Her song "Fisherman's Farewell" played while I was lost at sea and it holds the whole experience together beautifully, like sonic glue.
