MUSIC CITY DREAMING
From grade school to graduating from ASU, this podcast captures the story behind Haley & Spencer's decision to move from Phoenix to Nashville in pursuit of their songwriting dreams. They discuss the early days in Music City—air mattresses, stress, and all. But in no time, their apartment transforms into a mini-dorm, buzzing with new musical friendships. They share details about converting their closet into a recording studio and their laser-focused ambition in finding gigs around town.

Nashville is renowned for its songwriting circles, where singers showcase new tunes in the hopes of catching the ear of a record deal. In "Check Check One Two," Kyle shadows Haley and Spencer during rehearsals as they gear up for not one, but two songwriting rounds in a single night! Experience the duo's process of selecting show outfits and the nerve-wracking, secret handshakes before they hit the stage. And the best part? ALBUM MAKING PROCESS
When Haley & Spencer relocated to Nashville, they were focused on one thing: recording a new album. The album-making process is often shrouded in mystery, but in "Check Check One Two," you'll hear the dialogue, discussions, laughter, banter, and the intricate process of song creation that takes place from inside their closet studio. And you'll also hear how their creative process continues to evolve—what initially began as a full-length album has now transformed into two EP's.

BESTIES WHO  BICKER (OCCASIONALLY)
Haley and Spencer live together, moved to a new city together, and have been making music together since they were 10. Surely, they have had disagreements, right? But when host Kyle Lamont asks them if they ever fight, it's met with a mixed response.

PODCAST PRODUCTION PROCESS
From car rides around town to makeshift greenrooms and late-night talks in their bedroom, Lamont captured nearly 55 hours of tape. Needless to say, this project has pushed our producing, interviewing, writing, and editing skills to new heights and we are incredibly grateful to the Concert Cast production team and the band for their collaboration in crafting this audio story.
