TRANSCRIPT

The State Theater in Portland, Maine opened its doors to Conclave, a live streaming concert series. It’s not bringing in the same kind of revenue as they did before with live shows, and it’s probably not covering their actual operating costs - but it's a way for musicians and technical crews in Portland to keep working on projects they love and bring live music to people in their homes.
Fahray is an emerging R&B singer who has gone from performing open mics in dive bars in Portland to huge stages like Merrill Auditorium. She and bandmate Bill Giordano tell us what it was like to play to a virtual audience and Angelikah elaborates on preparing for the performance side of live streams.
The producer of the live stream series, breaks down his camera rig and how powerful it is to capture musicians from behind a camera. Joshua believes that live streaming  will be a new part of the concert experience and shares his thoughts for leaning into it.
